Firefox OS Devices Coming To Sprint - brownhinfore

Firefox maker Mozilla announced Mon that Sprint, along with six other carriers worldwide, bequeath be among the first mobile operators to documentation Mozilla's HTML5-based mobile OS.

Previously called the Staring Vane Devices political program (OWD), the mobile platform is directly known as Firefox OS, Mozilla confirms. Two device makers, Alcatel Indefinite Touch and ZTE, have been broached as the first companies to make Firefox OS devices using Snapdragon chips from Qualcomm (no more word yet on specs).

It's not clear when Sprint will offer the Web-supported smartphones. The first devices are slated to set in motion in Brazil in early 2022 through Espana-based telecommunication Telefónica.
